Located just North of U.S. Highway 290 along Cypress-Rosehill Road, this community is adjacent to the Cypress Lakes Golf Course.  Cypress Mill offers residents a community pool and several playgrounds.  Cypress Mill is also in close proximity to the new Northwest Harris County Park and Ride at Skinner Road and the new Simon Outlet Mall.

Cypress Mill Estates was built on the site of a pine tree farm and features larger lots than in Cypress Mill or Cypress Mill Park.  The homes in this section have a more upscale feel and generally have more "elbow room."  Although many of the trees were cleared to build the new homes, the developer left many of the trees in the back yards which gives the neighborhood a more mature feel you can't find in new home communities now.

Builders in the community included:  U.S. Homes (now part of Lennar Homes), Neighborhood Classic Homes, Kimball-Hill, Ryland Homes, Ashton Woods Homes, Plantation Homes and Pioneer Homes (MHI companies), and Pulte Homes.
