Hearthstone is one of the original golf course communities in the Northwest area of Houston.  The centerpiece of the community is the privately owned membership only Hearthstone Country Club.  Hearthstone is a mix of single family homes, patio homes and townhomes many of which back to the scenic golf course.  The country club offers members find dining, golf, tennis and swimming.

Hearthstone is located just North of FM 529 and is nestled between Jackrabbit Road and North Highway 6 and is conveniently located near North Highway 6 shopping and the Northwest Park and Ride.

Homes in Hearthstone were constructed from the late 1970s to the early to mid 1990s by builders such as:  Image Builders, Bob Allen, NPC, Carriage Club, Bratten, Parklane, Hammonds Homes, Betty Brown, Perry Homes, Ranchester, and Courtney Custom Homes.

Hearthstone Place, a sister community of Hearthstone, is located just across FM 529 from Hearthstone and was exclusively built by Lennar Homes starting in the mid-1990s through the early 2000s.  This community is much smaller but offers a community park and walking trails.
